Welcome to Bluefin Tuna Tackle

Your source for the finest lures, spreader bars, squid rigs, daisy chains, teasers and tackle available anywhere specifically targeting bluefin tuna. From giants to school tuna, we have all the necessary tackle, knowledge, and resources to get fish in your boat. Of course, we also have a full compliment of tackle, lures and gear that will get you hooked up with a nice yellowfin or a big blue marlin!

As you can see, we are building this store live, so please be patient. By the first of April it should be well stocked and ready to go. It is fully functional now, but as you can see, the cupboards are bare! As young as the 2009 tuna season is it is quickly apparent that the hot rig to have in the water is the Offshore Pursuits Sluggo Bar. We have all been looking for that special rig that would mimic the sand eels that the bluefin love so much. This is that rig!

The Offshore Pursuits Sluggo Bar is a 36" Titanium Bar with SS swivels on each sluggo, custom built SS soft bait screws so you can easily change a damaged bait, black SS hooks, and available in 9" or 12" Sluggos.

The 9" bar has a 9/0 hook as is available with white sluggos and a pink sluggo stinger or pink sluggos with a white sluggo stinger. The 12 bar uses a 10/0 hook and is available in the same color combinations. Pull one of each color combination in your spread and hang on!


Don't get caught this year scrambling for your favorite squid to re-rig a bar or make new. From now until July 1st, Offshore Pursuits Premium Tackle is offering a special consisting of 14 - 13" squid of the same color and 1 -13" squid of a different color for a stinger. That's 15 - 13" squid for only $37.20

That is a 25% discount over our normal low prices on the best squid money can buy. Don't take my word for it, ask those who fish them daily!

Available colors for this special are Jade, Shrimp, Rainbow, Green, Black, Pink, Zucchini, Hot Tomato and Sand Eel. The colors for the stinger are the same with the addition of Pearl and Glow. All other 13" squid less than the special amount will be discounted 15% until July 1st.
