The swivel tip we use is fast becoming a staple in a lot of boats. The swivel allows the tip to swivel left, right up & down. This helps prevent chafing of the line in the roller. This is especially helpful when using your outriggers. Or especially helpful when the fish is inches from your boat and suddenly thrashes wildly. The swivel head will keep pointed at the fish no matter where it goes.
